Andrea Lanoux
Professor of Slavic Studies at Connecticut College
Andrea Lanoux is a professor of Slavic Studies at Connecticut College, where she has been teaching Russian and Polish languages and cultures since 1999. Her research interests include children's literature and culture, literary canon formation, nationhood studies, and women writers in Slavic cultures.
In July and August, 2025, she studied Ukrainian at Słowianka Language School in Warsaw, where she developed an interest in translating children's stories from Ukrainian into English.
