Anna Lordan
Independent translator, writer, and researcher
Anna Lordan is a writer, researcher and translator who lives and works in Ukraine. She holds a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Stanford University. Her translation of the poem While we were waiting for war by contemporary poet Oleksandr Kocharyan, was shortlisted for the Ukrainian Institute London Translation Prize, and published in the London Ukrainian Review in August 2023. She is currently working on a translation of a text by writer and photographer Artem Bereznev for the Mariupol Memory Park project.
