Christina Logvynyuk holds an MA in European and Russian Studies and a BA in Economics and in East European Studies from Yale University. Her research focuses on the US foreign policy approach towards Eastern Europe, particularly Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia immediately before and after the collapse of the USSR. It begins to categorize and evaluate the containment and appeasement approach of the US towards Eastern Europe and Russia after the collapse, respectively, and assess the implications these approaches have had on foreign policy towards the region through primary source work of US Congressional hearings.
Christina is also a Ukrainian language tutor and has experience in both oral and written translation of the language. She is particularly interested in translation of 20th century Ukrainian texts of political activists and dissidents.
