Erin Hutchinson

Erin Hutchinson is an assistant professor of history at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research focuses on empire, literature, and nationalism in the postwar Soviet Union. Her book, Writing the Nation after Stalin: Literature and the Collapse of the Soviet Union, is forthcoming from Oxford University Press in October 2026. She is currently working on a translation of the Ukrainian writer Oles’ Honchar’s diary.
