Following a master’s program in Russian and East European studies, Jan Surer completed a doctoral dissertation on Russian and Ukrainian religious history in the late imperial period.
As an academic translator she has worked primarily from Russian and looks forward to enhancing her skills in translating Ukrainian texts.
