Professor of Humanities and English and the Humanities Program Coordinator at Midwestern State University
Kirsten Lodge has a Ph.D in Slavic languages from Columbia University. She is Professor of Humanities and English and the Humanities Program Coordinator at Midwestern State University, a member of the Texas Tech system. She has lived in the Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, and France.
She translates Russian and Czech literature, mainly for Broadview Press, and she is now working on a translation of Marko Vovchok's short stories.
