Valerie Browne

Valerie Browne received her Masters degree in Regional Studies: Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia at Harvard University where she focused on post-Soviet, post-colonial solidarities and the Kazakh language revitalization movement following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Valerie is a two-time FLAS Ukrainian recipient and a proud Fulbright Poland alumna. She is currently working on publishing her translation of Ivan Bahryanyi’s “Why I Don’t Want to Go Back to the USSR."
