Yuliia Vasik holds a PhD in Germanic Languages and is currently a postgraduate researcher in Social Sciences (Translation and Intercultural Mediation) at the University of Salamanca. With over two decades of teaching experience in translation and interpreting, she has designed and taught numerous courses in English-Ukrainian translation, focusing on both linguistic accuracy and the cultural depth of texts. Her publications and textbooks examine lexical gaps, non-equivalence, and the pedagogy of teaching translation, particularly in the context of political and international relations discourse. In addition to teaching and research, Yuliia has contributed to localization projects, including educational software for Ukrainian children.
